The Outreach For Breast Health Foundation The Outreach for Breast Health Foundation is dedicated to reducing mortality, suffering, and social costs of Breast Cancer by providing funding for convenient Breast care including: free mammograms, clinical breast examinations and breast health education to women with little or no insurance coverage. We also fund patient navigation which provides those patients with abnormal findings, referrals to doctors, breast clinics, hospitals, and other diagnostic centers
and support programs.

Outreach for Breast Health Foundation (OBHF) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a Komen Greater NYC 2007 STEP Grant. The grant will fund the “Outreach for Breast Health Foundation Screening Coordination and Outreach/In-reach Project”.

The purpose of the project is to educate medically under-served women, including minority women, new immigrants, uninsured, poorly insured, and senior citizens in breast health care, and link them to annual screening mammography and clinical breast exams by providing access to free mobile mammography. In addition, the Health and Hospital Corporation has awarded OBHF's medical provider funding to launch a free mobile mammography program to specifically target under-served women in Staten Island. OBHF will be assisting with coordinating mobile mammography programs in low-income neighborhoods. Outreach for Breast Health Foundation will hold the 4th Annual Benefit honoring Dr. Deborah Axelrod in Spring 2008.

More info will be released soon.
